Make sure the end of the stabilizer leg sets against the tubing cap inside the molded cap. Note if assembled properly rounded profile of the molded caps should be visible from the side of the stabilizer. How to install new rubber end caps. Orient tubing caps and molded caps as shown in figure 2.
