For about a decade, i've used these stabilizers on a six foot household ladder. Note i'm not an industrial Safety expert.

Note be careful put boards lengths of 2 x 12 lumber under ladder feet and stabilizer feet, when using on unpaved surfaces dirt, grass, gravel, sand, etc. I pack carefully and ship promptly. I've not used these stabilizers on an extension ladder.
